At North Texas Reptile Rescue, we understand that sometimes things happen or that life circumstances can sometimes change. When you surrender your pet to us you can rest assured that we will be committed to giving our best care and finding the perfect forever home.
To surrender, you will need to work out transport with our board member available located closest to you, and provide the enclosure, food, etc. that you have for the animal. For those unable to give enclosure, you may pay an enclosure fee instead with surrendering. You may also be charged a $50 fee with surrendering for any animal in the state of needing EU. You will also need to fill out and provide us with the surrender form which also states this. There is no otherwise surrender fee, however if you would like to make a donation towards the rescue with your surrender then of course that's great. You can find our donation information on our LinkTree or reach out to us.
***Please note that we are unable to intake aquatic turtles and other such animals that are native to TX as we do not have our Wildlife Rehabilitation Certification so we can not home them. Even if they were bought in a pet store. You will need to find a Wildlife Rehabilitater near you for help.**
If you have any other questions please feel free to reach out as well!
