Fostering Information

Fostering is an essential part of our cause. We need fosters to continue our intakes to accommodate more animals in need.

Our fosters will receive everything they need to set up and care for our rescues. We will walk you through care and help teach and guide you. We ask that you provide their food.

If you are interested in fostering, please fill out the form linked in the following box.

Fostering Process:

Phone Interview

A member of our board will then contact you for an interview, which allows us to ask you questions and let you ask us questions.

Once Approved

Once you have been approved as a foster, you must fill out the Foster Contract and send it to the Foster Coordinator.

Receive your foster

Please understand that it may take time to get you a foster. There are times when we do not have animals ready for fostering, and there are also times when it takes time to get all of the materials together, such as enclosures and lights.

Bring your foster to events

When you are a foster, you understand that we are looking for permanent homes for each reptile in our organization.  To get your foster adopted, you must bring them to our events so that people will have the opportunity to meet them.  You will also need to post on our Facebook group letting people know about the foster you have.  This allows the reptile to be seen and lets you share its unique quirks and sheer cuteness.

Foster Fail

Fostering to adopt is also an option that we can discuss. Don't hesitate to contact our fantastic adoption and foster coordinator, Susan, for help with our process!
