She loves her greens and her bugs. As her fosters, we put a few Dubia roaches in at a time and let her hunt them because she has so much fun running around. She likes to explore when out of her enclosure; she will sit on your lap or shoulder for some attention but is then ready to get down and look around.

Golden Tegus are a smaller species of Tegu but what they lack in size they make up for in spunk and personality. Frizzle eats a diet of: Salmon, Tilapia, Ground Turkey/Chicken/Rabbit, bugs, some fruit, and occasionally small live prey. Miss Frizzle can occasionally be defensive, usually by huffing, tail whipping, or running in the opposite direction. Slow movements and soft voices along with daily interactions really make a huge difference in being able to handle her. Miss Frizzle will need a minimum of a 6x4x4 enclosure. She will make a great pet for an advanced reptile keeper.

They enjoy swimming around in their big tank, and perching on their little shelf. Lil Tony and Todd can be adopted as a pair, or individually, as long as they will go to a good home.
