Yo! I am about a six-month-old dragon with much growing and maturing to do, and I hope to do it with you! I love attention, and I seriously love being the center of attention; like all of your attention, I would love for it to be focused on me. Since I am so young, I still have much growing and maturing to do, and I need you to work with me to show me how to be the best dragon. I need a calm hand to show me how loved I am. I eat well; my favorite foods are matchstick carrots, greens, and anything else in front of me. I am not picky! I have so much energy and am ready to play with my forever family! I have so much energy to use, and climbing is one of my favorite activities. Climbing on your shirt to get to the perfect snuggle spot is something you need to watch out for with me. Of course, climbing furniture and curtains is also a lot of fun too…..

Hi everyone! I am a 1.5-year-old female bearded dragon with much love and life to give! I love attention and can snuggle in with you while you watch TV. I also love to explore everything around me. I want to interact with the world and love the opportunities provided in my enclosure, as well as just free roaming around the house. I am not overly keen on going outside, BUT I love watching out the window to see what is going on. Eating-wise, greens are my favorite! I love collard greens, mustard greens, kale, squash, and my once in awhile treat of a single raspberry. I do love buggies, too, like dubia roaches and my treat of a hornworm.

My foster’s have dogs who will play by the window, and I will watch what they do as they run around the yard. I tense up when my people take me outside, so I will need some work if you want me to go outside. A leash will be a requirement in case I freak out. I’m still young so I hope that I get to grow old with you.

Max is a special little guy because looking at him you’d think he’s way younger than four. He was previously kept as a classroom pet with improper lighting and not much handling. Because of this he’s stunted in size and can be insecure about handling. His foster mom has not given up and she works hard everyday to show him how loved he truly is. He loves his buggies and greens, so much so that he will run to the door for his meals. He loves spending time in his hides and chilling on his hammock. You can often find him watching you as he loves to be involved but from a distance. Max loves when you talk to him and it allows him to learn to trust you. He will tilt his head like he’s truly listening to what you’re saying to him. Max is insecure about being handled and will hiss to let you know. But he is more all bark no bite. Due to this he would do best in a home with no small children and an adult who is willing to be patient and build that bond with him. The longer you hold him and talk sweetly to him the more he tends to calm down and relax. But he also enjoys walking around the house and exploring (just be sure to supervise, and provide him with a space to do so safely). This tiny dragon has a big heart who needs someone to put in the work to see how truly wonderful he is!

When he’s not going on walks or snuggling, he loves to watch the fish swim around in the nearby fish tank. He is not bothered by dogs or cats although he should never be left unattended with other animals! He also seems to enjoy the soft music being played during the day. He is an excellent car-riding dragon and loves looking out the window. He is also a master at playing virtual reality video games and is looking for a new gaming buddy! I love climbing on top of things in my enclosure, too; my Foster mom thought I had gotten out because I was hiding in the tree that I have. I really can’t wait until I have a forever home so that I can play all of the games with you and be able to watch everything that goes on by my enclosure. Golden Tegus are a smaller species of Tegu but what they lack in size they make up for in spunk and personality. Frizzle is a bit less thrilled to be handled than his sister Frazzle but he is working on it. Frizzle eats a diet of: Salmon, Tilapia, Ground Turkey/Chicken/Rabbit, bugs, some fruit, and occasionally small live prey.
